Walking
From the center of Neiafu, head southeast toward the main road (Vava'u Rd). Once you reach Vava'u Rd, turn left and continue walking until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the ferry terminal. At the terminal, you can ask locals for directions to the bus stop for Liahona. Take the bus that goes toward Liahona, which should be clearly marked. After about 30 minutes, you will arrive at Liahona. Once you get off the bus, follow Loto Rd for approximately 10 minutes. You will see the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple straight ahead.
Bicycle
If you prefer to ride a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Neiafu. Start at the main square and head toward Vava'u Rd. Turn left onto Vava'u Rd and continue straight until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, locate the bus stop for Liahona and board a bus for a short ride. After disembarking at Liahona, cycle down Loto Rd for about 10 minutes until you reach the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple.
Public Transport
To get to the Nuku'alofa Tonga Temple from Neiafu using public transport, walk to the local bus station near the ferry terminal. Look for a bus heading to Liahona. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Liahona, exit the bus and walk along Loto Rd for approximately 10 minutes to reach the temple.
