Walking
If you are in central Nuku'alofa, head towards the waterfront area. Look for the main road, Vuna Road, which runs along the coast. Walk towards the east along Vuna Road until you reach the intersection with Taufa'ahau Road. Turn right onto Taufa'ahau Road and continue walking straight. Talamahu Market will be on your left, just after the intersection with Liku'alofa Road. The market is a vibrant place filled with local produce, crafts, and food stalls.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in Nuku'alofa. Start from the central area and cycle towards Vuna Road. Follow Vuna Road heading east. When you reach the intersection with Taufa'ahau Road, turn right and continue cycling straight. Talamahu Market will be on your left, just after the intersection with Liku'alofa Road. Enjoy the ride and the beautiful coastal views along the way!
Public Transport
While Nuku'alofa does not have a formal bus system, you can catch a local taxi or a 'bus' (shared van) from various points around the city. Ask the driver to take you to Talamahu Market or simply state 'Talamahu'. Most drivers are familiar with the market.
