If you are in central Nuku'alofa, start at the iconic Tongan National Cultural Centre, located on Hala Taufa'ahau. From there, head east on Hala Taufa'ahau until you reach the waterfront. You will see the ocean to your right. Continue walking along the waterfront, taking in the sights of the local markets and the beautiful coastline. When you reach the intersection with Hala Kolofo'ou, turn left. After about 500 meters, you will see American Wharf on your right, near the harbor. Look for the sign indicating the wharf area.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in central Nuku'alofa. Start at the Tongan National Cultural Centre and cycle east along Hala Taufa'ahau. This road will lead you towards the waterfront. Keep cycling along the coast, enjoying the breeze and views. When you reach the intersection with Hala Kolofo'ou, take a left and continue cycling for about 500 meters. American Wharf will be on your right, easily recognizable by the boats and activity in the area.
