Walking
From the center of Nuku'alofa, head towards the waterfront along Taufa'ahau Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection at the Tanoa International Dateline Hotel. Turn left onto Vuna Road and keep walking for approximately 500 meters. The War Memorial will be on your left, just past the roundabout. Look for the large stone structure with flags, which marks the site.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central market area in Nuku'alofa. Cycle along Taufa'ahau Road towards the waterfront. After about 1 kilometer, take a left onto Vuna Road. Continue cycling for another 500 meters until you see the War Memorial on your left, just after the roundabout. The ride is mostly flat and offers a pleasant view of the coast.
Local Bus
Catch a local bus from the main bus terminal in Nuku'alofa and ask the driver to drop you off at the Tanoa International Dateline Hotel stop. From there, you can walk down Vuna Road for about 500 meters. The War Memorial will be on your left after you pass the roundabout.
