Getting There

Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main town in Nuku Island. Head southeast on the main road, following signs towards Kala'au. After approximately 10 minutes of driving, keep an eye out for the VM84+458 marker on your left. Turn onto the Unnamed Road at this point. Continue straight for another 5 minutes, and you will see Tsunami Rock on your right. There is usually parking available along the roadside.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, catch a local bus heading towards Kala'au from the main bus station in Nuku Island. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near VM84+458. From there, you will need to walk along the Unnamed Road for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Tsunami Rock, which will be on your right. Be prepared to pay a small fare for the bus ride, typically around 2-5 Tongan Paʻanga.

If you're already in the vicinity of Kala'au, you can walk to Tsunami Rock. Starting from the center of Kala'au village, head southeast towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left and walk for about 15 minutes. Look for the VM84+458 marker, and then turn onto the Unnamed Road. Tsunami Rock will be located on your right after another 10 minutes of walking.
