Car

If you are driving from the main town area of Tau, head south on the main road (Vuna Road) towards Alaki. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction near the coast. Turn left at the junction onto a smaller road that leads towards the coastline. Keep following this road, and you will see signs directing you to the Captain Cook Landing Site. The destination is located at RV59+5W2, Alaki. There is no entry fee to visit the site.

Public Transportation

To reach the Captain Cook Landing Site via public transportation, take a local bus heading towards Alaki. Check with the bus driver or local guides for the correct bus number and schedule, as these can change. Inform the driver that you wish to go to the Captain Cook Landing Site. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Alaki, walk towards the coastline, keeping an eye out for signs that lead you to the site. Walking
