From the center of Arima, locate the Arima Bus Terminal, which is near the Plaza. Look for a bus heading to Caroni or Orange Grove. The bus fare is generally affordable, and the ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary. Once you arrive at the Orange Grove area, get off at the closest stop and walk along Orange Grove Road until you reach 65 Orange Grove Rd.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from any location in Arima. Simply ask the driver to take you to Caroni Bird Sanctuary at 65 Orange Grove Rd. The taxi ride should take about 20-25 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ensure that the meter is running.

If you are near the outskirts of Arima and feel adventurous, you could walk to the sanctuary. Start at the Arima Market and head west on Queen Street until you reach the junction with the Eastern Main Road. Turn left onto the Eastern Main Road, and walk until you reach the intersection with Orange Grove Road. Turn right onto Orange Grove Road and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach 65 Orange Grove Rd. Please note that this option is best for those who are used to walking long distances.
