Walking
From the center of Couva, head north on the main road towards the Southern Main Road. Walk straight until you reach the Couva Village. Continue walking along the road until you reach the traffic lights. Turn left at the traffic lights onto the Lopinot Road. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction at Blanchisseuse. Here, you will see signs directing you to the Avocat Waterfall. Continue on the Blanchisseuse Road for about 3 kilometers until you see the entrance to the hiking area on your right. Please ensure you have comfortable shoes for the hike.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Couva, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Southern Main Road. Look for a bus heading towards Blanchisseuse. Once you board the bus, inform the driver you want to go to the Avocat Waterfall. The bus will take you along the Southern Main Road and then turn onto Lopinot Road. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Blanchisseuse area, you may need to walk a short distance from the bus stop to the waterfall's entrance, following the signs.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any point in Couva. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to Avocat Waterfall in Blanchisseuse. The taxi will take you along the main roads, and the journey will take around 30 minutes. Make sure to negotiate a fare before starting your trip to avoid any confusion. The driver may drop you off at the entrance of the waterfall hiking area.
