Getting There

Car
From Mayaro-Rio Claro, head west on the Main Road (also known as the Southern Main Road) towards San Fernando. Continue straight for approximately 30 km until you reach the intersection with the Churchill-Roosevelt Highway. Take a left onto the highway and follow the signs to Port of Spain. After about 40 km, take the exit towards Diego Martin. Continue on Diego Martin Main Road until you reach the PCJR+XX6 address. The River Estate Museum will be on your right.

Public Transportation
To reach River Estate Museum by public transportation, take a taxi or a bus from Mayaro to San Fernando. From San Fernando, board a bus heading to Port of Spain. The bus ride will take about 1 hour. Once in Port of Spain, transfer to a minibus heading towards Diego Martin. Ask the driver to drop you off at the PCJR+XX6 address. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.
