From Mayaro, head northwest on the Main Road towards Guayaguayare. Continue on the Main Road for about 15 km. When you reach the intersection with the road to Matelot, take a left turn. Follow this road for approximately 12 km until you reach RVC8+VFX. Look for signs indicating Tamanc or Matelot. There is no charge for using the road, but ensure your vehicle is in good condition for the journey as the road conditions may vary.

To reach Tamanc from Mayaro, you can take a taxi or a minibus heading towards Guayaguayare. The fare is approximately TTD 10-15. Inform the driver that you want to go to Matelot. Once you reach Matelot, you may need to take another taxi or walk approximately 2 km to reach RVC8+VFX. Be sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
