Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Pitch Lake, head southeast on La Brea Road (Highway 2) for approximately 7 kilometers. Continue on this road until you reach the junction at Point Fortin. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Point Fortin Main Road and continue driving for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Clifton Hill Beach. Turn right onto Clifton Hill Road and follow it until you reach the beach. Parking is available near the beach, and there is no cost for parking.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Clifton Hill Beach via public transportation, first, take a taxi or a 'maxi' taxi (shared taxi) from Pitch Lake to Point Fortin. The fare should be around TT$10 to TT$20 per person. Once you arrive in Point Fortin, look for another 'maxi' taxi heading towards Clifton Hill. This ride should be approximately TT$5 to TT$10 per person. Get off at the closest stop to Clifton Hill Beach, and it will be a short walk from there to the beach entrance.
