Car
From Pitch Lake, head south on La Brea Main Road (the main road in the area). Continue straight for approximately 8 kilometers until you reach the junction with the San Fernando-Tableland Road (Route 600). Turn left onto San Fernando-Tableland Road and drive for about 3 kilometers. Look for signs that direct you towards St. John Trace in Avocat. After turning onto St. John Trace, continue for about 1 kilometer until you reach the location at 5FWG+C8H, St John Trace, Avocat. There is free parking available near the garden.

Public Transportation
From Pitch Lake, you can take a taxi or a 'maxi-taxi' (a shared minibus) from the nearby La Brea area. Head to the main taxi stand and ask for a ride to Avocat. The fare should be around TT$10-15. The journey will take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Avocat, ask the driver to drop you off at the intersection with St. John Trace. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the garden located at 5FWG+C8H, St John Trace.

If you're already in Avocat, you can walk to St John Garden from the main road. Head east on San Fernando-Tableland Road until you reach St. John Trace. Turn onto St. John Trace and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. The garden will be on your left at 5FWG+C8H, St John Trace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes as the walk may take about 15-20 minutes.
