Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Queen's Park Savannah, head northeast towards the corner of St. Ann's Road and the Savannah. At the intersection, take a right onto St. Ann's Road. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto the Eastern Main Road (EMR). Walk along the EMR for approximately 1 kilometer until you see a bus stop. From there, you can catch a route taxi heading towards Gonzales. Get off at the 'Gonzales Junction' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk up Gonzales Main Road until you reach the intersection with Sogren Trace. Turn left onto Sogren Trace, and you will find Sogren Trace Park a short walk down this road.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the Port of Spain transit terminal, located on the corner of George Street and St. Vincent Street. Look for a 'Gonzales' route taxi (usually marked with a 'G' on the windshield). Board the taxi, and inform the driver you want to go to Gonzales Junction. The ride should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic. Once you reach Gonzales Junction, exit the taxi and walk along Gonzales Main Road. Turn left onto Sogren Trace, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Sogren Trace Park.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can start at the Queen's Park Savannah. Cycle northeast towards St. Ann's Road, then turn right onto St. Ann's Road. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto the Eastern Main Road. Follow the EMR for about 1 kilometer. When you reach the bus stop, you can either continue cycling straight or take a left turn onto Gonzales Main Road. Proceed until you reach the intersection with Sogren Trace, then turn left onto Sogren Trace. Sogren Trace Park will be on your right.
