Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the center of Port of Spain, head west on Frederick Street towards Independence Square. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with St. Vincent Street. Turn left onto St. Vincent Street and continue until you reach the junction with Wrightson Road. Cross over to the right side of Wrightson Road and board a bus heading towards Diego Martin, which should be clearly marked. The bus will take you along the busy Diego Martin Highway. Get off at the stop near the Diego Martin Public Library, which is a well-known landmark. From the library, walk south along the main road for about 10 minutes. You will pass several local shops and eateries. As you walk, look for signs pointing to the Street Market, which will be on your left. The market is located close to the Diego Martin main road, making it easy to spot.

  From Port of Spain, head to the main bus terminal located at the corner of George Street and St. Vincent Street. Look for buses heading towards Diego Martin. They are usually labeled clearly.
