Starting from the center of Port of Spain, head east on Independence Square towards the intersection with St. Vincent Street. Continue straight onto St. Vincent Street until you reach the junction with Frederick Street. Turn left onto Frederick Street and follow it as it curves to the right and becomes Abercromby Street. Follow Abercromby Street until you reach the intersection with Queen's Park West. Here, you’ll see Queen's Park Savannah on your left. Continue along Queen's Park West, moving towards the eastern end of the Savannah. At the intersection with St. Ann's Road, turn right. Follow St. Ann's Road until you reach the foot of Fort George, which is marked with a sign. The hike up to Fort George will take approximately 15-20 minutes, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Port of Spain and the surrounding areas.

From the center of Port of Spain, head to the nearest bus stop along Independence Square. Take a minibus heading to St. Ann's. Inform the driver that you need to get off at the intersection of St. Ann's Road and Abercromby Street. Once you get off, walk east on St. Ann's Road until you see the entry point for Fort George. The walk from the bus stop to Fort George will take about 10-15 minutes. Be sure to check local bus schedules and routes, as they may vary!
