Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Siparia, start by heading north on the SS Erin Road (also known as the Siparia-Point Fortin Road). Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the M2 Ring Road. Turn left onto the M2 Ring Road and follow the signs toward San Fernando. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit toward the Southern Main Road. Continue on this road for about 20 kilometers until you reach the town of La Brea. Here, you will turn onto Blanchisseuse Road (also indicated for Marianne Beach). Follow Blanchisseuse Road for about 10 kilometers, and you will start to see signs pointing toward Marianne Beach. The beach is located at QMWX+FR, Blanchisseuse. Be prepared for a few unpaved sections as you get closer.

    To reach Marianne Beach via public transportation, start from Siparia by taking a taxi or a minibus heading to San Fernando. This journey will cost you around TT$10-15. Once you arrive at the San Fernando terminal, transfer to a bus heading to Blanchisseuse. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately TT$20-25. Inform the driver that you are going to Marianne Beach. The bus will drop you off near the entrance to the beach. From there, you may need to walk a short distance (about 1-2 kilometers) to reach the beach itself, depending on the drop-off point.
