Local know-how to help you travel smarter and make the most of every moment.
Car
If you're traveling by car from St. Mary, head southwest on the main road (Tobago Plantations Rd) towards Roxborough. Continue straight for approximately 15 minutes. When you reach the junction at Roxborough, take a right turn onto the Argyle Road. Follow this road for about 5 minutes until you see the signs for Argyle Falls. There is a parking area near the entrance where you can leave your car. Note that there may be a small entrance fee for visiting the falls.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can catch a minibus from St. Mary heading towards Roxborough. Inform the driver that you need to stop at Argyle Falls. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Argyle Road junction, you may need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the falls, as minibuses do not go directly to the entrance. Expect to pay a small fare for the minibus ride.
Walking
If you are already in the Roxborough area, you can walk to Argyle Falls. From the center of Roxborough, head southeast on Argyle Road. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes as you follow the road signs towards the falls. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated as the path can be steep in some areas.
