Car
From St. Mary, head southeast on the main road (Canaan/Bon Accord Road) and continue driving until you reach the intersection with the Claude Noel Highway. Turn left onto the Claude Noel Highway (Highway 1). Follow this highway for about 15 km, until you reach the exit for Buccoo. Take the exit and follow the signs to Buccoo. Once in Buccoo, follow the signs towards Nylon Pool, which is located off the coast. You may need to park at a designated area near the beach.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a local taxi or minibus from St. Mary to Scarborough. Look for a taxi or minibus heading to Scarborough, which are commonly found near bus stops or main roads. Once in Scarborough, transfer to a minibus heading to Buccoo. The fare for the taxi to Scarborough is approximately TT$10-15, and the fare from Scarborough to Buccoo is around TT$5. Upon arriving in Buccoo, ask for directions to the beach where you can find boats that will take you to Nylon Pool. The boat ride usually costs about TT$20-30 per person.
Boat
After arriving in Buccoo, head to the beach where local fishermen and tour operators offer boat rides to Nylon Pool. Ensure to negotiate the price before boarding. The journey typically takes around 20 minutes. Confirm the return trip schedule with the boat operator as well.
