Car
If you're driving from Matmata, start by heading southeast on the N15 road. Continue for about 11 km until you reach the turn-off for Tamezret. Turn left onto the road leading to Tamezret (look for signs). Drive through the village and follow the signs towards Dar Ayed Viewing Point. The journey should take approximately 20-25 minutes. As you approach the viewing point, look for parking areas where you can safely leave your car.
Public Transportation
From Matmata, head to the main bus station and look for a shared taxi (also known as a 'louage'). Ask for a ride to Tamezret, which should cost around 5-10 TND. The trip will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tamezret, you will need to walk about 1 km to reach the Dar Ayed Viewing Point. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions, as the path can be a bit winding.
Walking
If you are already in Tamezret, you can reach Dar Ayed Viewing Point on foot. Start at the village center and walk towards the south side of Tamezret. Follow the dirt paths and signs for about 1 km. The walk will take you through beautiful scenery and might take around 15-20 minutes. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the terrain can be uneven.
