Public Bus
From Monastir city center, head to the main bus station located near Avenue Habib Bourguiba. Look for the buses that head towards Sousse. You need to take a bus that specifically has a route to 'Hammam Sousse' or 'Kantaoui'. The bus ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Hammam Sousse, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Port El Kantaoui. After getting off the bus, follow the signs leading towards the beach area, and you will find Port El Kantaoui.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from any location in Monastir. Taxis are available throughout the city. Simply tell the driver 'Port El Kantaoui' or 'Hammam Sousse'. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your trip, as taxis do not always use a meter.
Walking
If you are staying in a hotel near the beach area in Monastir, you can take a leisurely walk along the coast. Head towards the beach and follow the coastline heading north. The walk can take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, but you will enjoy the beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Hammam Sousse and Port El Kantaoui, as they will guide you in the right direction.
Bicycle Rental
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Monastir. You can ride along the coastal path towards Hammam Sousse. Follow the path that runs parallel to the beach, and you will eventually arrive at Port El Kantaoui. This option provides a scenic route and allows you to explore the area at your own pace.
