From Tamerza, head southwest on Route 16 towards Al-Mitlawi. Continue for approximately 7 kilometers until you see the signs for Canyon de Métlaoui. The canyon entrance is located at the coordinates 34.3420968, 8.3286211. Note that parking may be available nearby, but check for any local parking fees.

Public Transportation
Take a taxi or a shared taxi (known locally as 'louage') from Tamerza to Al-Mitlawi. Inform the driver that your destination is Canyon de Métlaoui. The journey is about 15-20 minutes and costs around 5-10 TND per person. Once you arrive in Al-Mitlawi, you may need to walk a short distance to the canyon entrance, approximately 500 meters.

If you find yourself in central Tamerza and prefer to walk, head towards Route 16 and follow it southwest towards Al-Mitlawi. The walk is around 7 kilometers and will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the terrain can be uneven and the sun can be intense.
