Ensure your vehicle is equipped for off-road conditions as the terrain near Ong Jmal is sandy.

To reach Ong Jmal via public transport, first, take a taxi or a shared louage (shared taxi) from Nefta to Chott el-Gharsa. The fare should be around 10-15 TND (Tunisian Dinar). After arriving in Chott el-Gharsa, you can hire a local taxi to take you to Ong Jmal. The taxi ride will cost approximately 20 TND. Confirm the price before starting your ride to avoid any misunderstandings.
