Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Nefta, a well-known town in The Djerid. Head southeast on Avenue Habib Bourguiba (N3) for about 4 kilometers. After reaching the junction with Route P16, turn left onto P16. Continue for approximately 12 kilometers until you reach the village of Tamaqzah. Look for signs indicating 'Village Abandonné' as you approach. The destination is located at the coordinates (34.3888781, 7.9487668) and there is parking available near the site.

For those opting for public transportation, take a shared taxi (known as a 'louage') from Nefta to Tamaghza. Louages typically depart from the main taxi station in Nefta. The fare is approximately 3-5 Tunisian Dinars depending on the number of passengers. Once you arrive in Tamaqzah, ask the driver to drop you off near the 'Village Abandonné'. From there, it is a short walk to the historical site.

If you are already in Tamaqzah, the area surrounding the abandoned village is pedestrian-friendly. From the center of Tamaqzah, head towards the P16 road and follow the signs leading to 'Village Abandonné'.
