Car
From the center of The Djerid, head north on Route 1 towards Sousse. After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Boulevard Yahia Ibn Omar. Continue straight on Boulevard Yahia Ibn Omar for about 2 kilometers until you reach 65 Rue des Remparts. The Museum Dar Essid will be on your right. Parking may be available along the street or in nearby public parking areas. Be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Catch a bus heading towards Sousse from the main bus station in The Djerid. Buses typically run every hour and the fare is quite affordable (around 5 TND). The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Sousse bus station, you can either walk or take a local taxi. If walking, head towards Boulevard Yahia Ibn Omar and continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach 65 Rue des Remparts where the Museum Dar Essid is located.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from anywhere in The Djerid to the Museum Dar Essid. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The ride should take around 30 minutes and the cost may range from 30 to 50 TND, depending on your starting point. The taxi will drop you off directly at the museum located at 65 Rue des Remparts, Boulevard Yahia Ibn Omar.
