Car
If you are driving from Sousse, take the A1 highway towards Tunis. Continue on A1 for about 90 km, then take the exit towards the N3 road towards Bou Salem. Follow the N3 for approximately 15 km, then turn onto the road signposted for Dougga. Drive for another 10 km until you reach the archaeological site of Dougga. Make sure to have a GPS or map app handy, as some signs may be limited.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Sousse, take a bus to Tunis. Buses frequently depart from the Sousse bus station to Tunis, costing around 5 TND. Once in Tunis, head to the Bab El Khadra bus station and catch a bus to Teboursouk. This bus ride will take about 1.5 hours and costs approximately 4 TND. Upon arriving in Teboursouk, you can take a taxi or local transport to Dougga, which is about 10 km away. Expect to pay around 10 TND for the taxi.

If you prefer not to take public transportation from Tunis to Teboursouk, you can hire a taxi directly from Tunis to Dougga. This option will be more expensive, costing approximately 70-90 TND for the trip, but it will take around 1.5 hours, saving you the hassle of transferring between buses.
