Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Medenine from any location in The Tell. Follow Route Nationale 1 (RN1) southward until you reach the turnoff for Ksar Ghilane. The road will become a bit rougher as you approach the desert. Continue driving for approximately 40 kilometers on the unpaved road until you reach La Source de Ksar Ghilane. Make sure your vehicle is suitable for off-road conditions, as the last stretch may require 4WD. Parking is available nearby.
Public Transport
To reach Ksar Ghilane via public transportation, first take a bus from cities like Medenine or Gabes towards the town of Ksar Ghilane. Buses run regularly but may not be very frequent, so plan your trip accordingly. Once you arrive in Ksar Ghilane, local taxis or shared pickups can take you the remaining distance to La Source de Ksar Ghilane. Expect to pay a small fare for this ride (approximately 5-10 Tunisian Dinars). Ensure you confirm the taxi fare before starting your trip to avoid any surprises.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Medenine or Gabes that will take you straight to La Source de Ksar Ghilane. This option is more expensive but will save you time. Fare may vary depending on negotiation but expect to pay around 100-150 Tunisian Dinars for a one-way trip. Confirm the price before departing and make sure the driver knows your destination.
