Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards the A1 highway. From major towns in the Tunisian Sahara, follow local signs to join the A1. Once on the A1, drive towards Bouficha. Take exit 4089 A1, then follow the signs for Bir Bou Rekba. Friguia Park is located just off the A1 on your right. Look out for the entrance sign. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take a train or bus to the nearest town, Bouficha. Trains frequently run from Tunis to Bouficha, and it’s advisable to check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Bouficha, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to Friguia Park. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are going to Friguia Park, as not all taxis may be familiar with it. The taxi fare should be reasonable, typically around 5-10 TND, depending on your negotiation skills.

• Taxi

  If you're already in a nearby town and need a direct route to Friguia Park, you can hire a taxi. Make sure to agree on a fare before starting your journey. The taxi ride from central locations like Sousse or Monastir should cost between 30-50 TND depending on distance and traffic. It’s a straightforward route via the A1 highway, and the driver should be familiar with the park's location.
