If you're driving from Aeolis to Alanya Castle, start by heading southwest on the D400 highway. Follow the D400 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Alanya. Once in Alanya, follow signs for 'Kale' (Castle). You will need to park at one of the designated parking areas near the castle entrance, which may have a parking fee of around 10-20 Turkish Lira. After parking, it's a short walk to the castle entrance.

Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transport, take a bus from Aeolis to Alanya. Buses frequently depart from the main bus station in Aeolis. The journey takes about 40 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic, and costs approximately 30-50 Turkish Lira. Once you arrive at the Alanya bus station, you can catch a local minibus (dolmuş) that goes to the castle area. The dolmuş fare is around 5 Lira. The minibus will drop you near the entrance to Alanya Castle.

Walking from Bus Station
If you arrive at the Alanya bus station, after taking a dolmuş, you can also choose to walk to Alanya Castle. From the bus station, head south on Atatürk Boulevard, then turn left onto the road leading up to the castle. This walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes and will provide you with scenic views of Alanya along the way.
