Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Aeolis. Head southeast on the main road (D320) towards Pamukkale. Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 hours, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Pamukkale, follow the signs for Hierapolis. The site is located just a few minutes from the center of Pamukkale. Parking is available near the entrance, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Bus

For public transportation, find the nearest bus station in Aeolis and take a bus heading to Pamukkale. The journey may take about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Pamukkale bus terminal, you can take a local dolmuş (minibus) directly to Hierapolis. These minibuses run frequently and cost around 10-15 Turkish Lira. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from any location in Aeolis to Hierapolis. This is a more expensive option but is convenient, especially if you are traveling in a group.
