Public Transport
If you are starting from Kızılay, take the metro line from Kızılay station towards Batıkent. Get off at the next stop, Tunalı Hilmi. From Tunalı Hilmi station, walk towards the bus stop and catch bus number 101 or 102. The bus will take you to the Altındağ district. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs towards Ankara Castle, which is a short 10-minute walk uphill to your left.

If you are near the Atatürk Boulevard, start walking towards the direction of the Ulus district. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. Turn left onto the road leading to the Citadel area. Follow the road uphill; after about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to Ankara Castle on your right.

You can easily find a taxi from any major area in Ankara. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Ankara Kalesi' (Ankara Castle). The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to have the address: Kale, 06240 Altındağ/Ankara, ready to show the driver.
