Public Transport
If you are starting from the city center, head to the nearest metro station, Kızılay. Take the M1 line towards AŞTİ (Ankara Şehirlerarası Terminali) and get off at the next stop, Tandoğan. From Tandoğan, transfer to bus number 296 towards Altındağ. Get off at the 'Ankara Kalesi' stop. From there, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the castle entrance. Just follow the signs pointing to Ankara Castle, and you'll be greeted by the stunning views of the city!

If you are already in the Altındağ area, simply walk towards the castle. You can start from the nearest landmark, such as the Atatürk Cultural Center. Head northwest on Mimar Sinan Street, then take a left onto Çankırı Street. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see the castle walls. The entrance is located at the top of the hill, and you will be able to see the castle from a distance as you approach.
