Getting There

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    If you are starting from Kızılay, take Bus 220 from the Kızılay bus stop. The bus will take you towards Maltepe. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the 'Maltepe' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head east on Anıt Cd for about 5 minutes until you reach the Ataturk & Independence War Museum, located on your left.

  • Public Transport (Metro)

    From Kızılay Metro Station, board the M1 line towards AŞTİ. Travel for 4 stops and get off at 'Tandoğan' station. From Tandoğan, you can take Bus 220 as mentioned above, or you can opt to walk. If walking, exit the station and head northwest towards Anıt Cd. Continue straight for about 20 minutes until you reach the museum.

    If you are near the Ankara Opera House, you can walk to the museum. Head southeast on Talatpaşa Boulevard towards Anıt Cd. Continue straight for about 1.5 km (approximately 20 minutes). The museum will be on your right side at the intersection with Maltepe Street.
