Walking
If you are in the Ulus area, the Museum of the War of Independence is within walking distance. Start from the Ulus Square, which is a central landmark in the neighborhood. Head south on the Cumhuriyet Avenue (Cumhuriyet Cad.) for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Anafartalar Street. Turn left onto Anafartalar Street, and the museum will be on your right at number 14. Look for the large sign indicating the museum.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch a bus from any nearby bus stop in Ulus. Look for buses that have stops near Ulus Square. Take a bus heading towards Altındağ or the Kızılay area (check the bus number on the electronic board). Get off at the 'Anafartalar' stop. From there, walk back towards the direction of the bus for about 100 meters. The museum will be on your left at Cumhuriyet Cad. No:14.

For a more direct way, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ulus. Simply tell the driver you want to go to the 'Kurtuluş Savaşı Müzesi' (Museum of the War of Independence) located at Cumhuriyet Cad. No:14. The fare should be relatively inexpensive as it is a short distance. Be sure to check if the taxi uses a meter before getting in.
