    If you are in the Ulus area, the Museum of the War of Independence is within walking distance. Start from the Ulus Square, which is a central landmark in the neighborhood. Head south on the Cumhuriyet Avenue (Cumhuriyet Cad.) for about 300 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Continue until you reach the intersection with the Anafartalar Street. Turn left onto Anafartalar Street, and the museum will be on your right at number 14. Look for the large sign indicating the museum.
