Getting There

  • Public Transport - Metro

    Start by taking the metro line M1 (Red Line) from any metro station in Ankara. If you are near Kızılay, board the metro towards AŞTİ. After 5 stops, get off at the 'Sıhhiye' station. From Sıhhiye, transfer to the Ankaray tram line (Orange Line) towards Dikimevi. Travel for 3 stops and get off at 'Hacı Bayram' station. Once you exit the tram, you will see the Column of Julian straight ahead in Hacı Bayram park.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    Locate the nearest bus stop and take bus number 213, 231, or 442 which heads towards Hacı Bayram. Make sure to confirm the bus number goes to Hacı Bayram. After approximately 15-20 minutes, get off at the 'Hacı Bayram' stop. The Column of Julian is a short walk from the bus stop. Just head towards the park area, and you will see the landmark.

    If you are in the central area of Ankara, you can walk to the Column of Julian. From Kızılay, head towards the direction of Atatürk Boulevard. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Ankara Castle visible on your right. Continue walking straight until you reach Hacı Bayram Mosque. The Column of Julian is located adjacent to the mosque within Hacı Bayram park.
