Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the main roads leading out of Bithynia towards İzmir. Follow the signs for Aydın and take the O-31 highway. Continue on O-31 for about 1.5 hours until you reach the exit for Selçuk. Once you enter Selçuk, follow the signs to the Ephesus Archaeological Site. You will need to pay for parking near the site, which typically costs around 10-20 Turkish Lira.
Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, head to the nearest bus terminal in Bithynia. Look for buses heading to Selçuk; these are frequent and cost approximately 50-70 Turkish Lira. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival at Selçuk bus station, you can either walk (around 20 minutes) or take a local minibus (dolmuş) to the Ephesus Archaeological Site for a small fare of about 5 Turkish Lira.
Walking
If you find yourself in Selçuk and wish to walk to the Ephesus Archaeological Site, exit the bus station and head south on Atatürk Boulevard. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the archaeological site. The walk is pleasant and well-marked, taking around 25-30 minutes.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Selçuk to the Ephesus Archaeological Site. Taxis are readily available at the bus station, and the fare should cost approximately 30-50 Turkish Lira, depending on traffic. The ride will take about 10 minutes.
