Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Bithynia. Follow the D-100 highway towards Adıyaman for approximately 2 hours (around 150 km). Once you reach the town of Kahta, take the exit for Nemrut Dağı Yolu. Continue along this road for about 30 minutes until you reach the entrance of Mount Nemrut. Be aware that there may be a parking fee of around 10-20 TL at the base.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from central Bithynia to Adıyaman. Buses run frequently and the journey typically takes about 2 hours. Once in Adıyaman, you will need to transfer to a local minibus (dolmuş) heading to Kahta. After reaching Kahta, you can either take another minibus to the base of Mount Nemrut or hire a taxi for convenience. The total cost for the bus and minibus ride will be approximately 50 TL.

Taxi

If you prefer a direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Bithynia to Mount Nemrut. This option is more expensive, typically costing around 500-700 TL depending on your negotiation skills and the driver. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the Mount Nemrut site, saving you time and hassle.
