    If you are in the heart of Bodrum, start at the Bodrum Marina. Head east along the waterfront promenade towards the city center. Continue walking until you reach the intersection at Atatürk Caddesi. Turn right onto Atatürk Caddesi and walk straight until you reach the traffic lights. Cross the road and continue straight onto Cumhuriyet Caddesi. After a short walk, you will see a sign for Bodrum Castle (Kale) on your left. Follow the signs leading you up the hill to the entrance.

  • Public Transportation (Dolmuş)

    From various points in Bodrum, you can catch a dolmuş (shared minibus) heading towards 'Çarşı.' Board the dolmuş and tell the driver you want to go to Bodrum Castle. The ride will take about 10 minutes, and you will get off near the entrance to the castle. After disembarking, follow the signs leading up to the castle entrance.

  • Taxi

    If you're near a taxi stand or can hail a taxi, tell the driver you want to go to Bodrum Castle (Çarşı, Kale Cd.). It's a short ride and should take about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off near the entrance of the castle.
