Getting There

Walking
If you are in central Bodrum, start at the Bodrum Castle, a prominent landmark. Head southeast along the coast toward the marina. Continue walking straight until you reach a major intersection. Turn left onto Turgutreis Caddesi, which is the main road leading toward the Mausoleum. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus on your right side. The entrance is well-marked.

Public Transportation (Dolmuş)
From the Bodrum bus station (Otogar), take a dolmuş (shared minibus) heading towards Turgutreis. The dolmuş will drop you off at the nearest stop to the Mausoleum. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to visit the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus. Once you get off, walk back a short distance on Turgutreis Caddesi, and the Mausoleum will be on your left after a few minutes.
