Cappadocia Fantastic Hot Air Balloon Tour Champagne & Breakfast
Istanbul and the Cappadocia. 10 Day Voyage Privé Tour
The experience of flying in a balloon over the Cappadocia, however, I must say for other travelers that do not contract with the Turkish tour operator Voyage Privé, because they get much better price and the same services for example with CIVITATIS, who is who we finally contract with and costs 80.-€ less to each of those who traveled than multiplied by 7, is a saving of 560.-€. Hotels indicate them as 5*, but most of them would not reach even 4* in Spain, despite their facilities were generally acceptable, breakfasts and meals quite repetitive, with few options of international food. They schedule visits to fur, carpet and jewelry factories, which are plenty for most travelers and which in any case should be scheduled as optional for those who are interested, as they steal a lot of time for other activities. Finally, indicate that the hotels on the route are always on the outskirts of the cities. On the other hand and to inform other travelers I tell them about the currency exchange. It is best to pay by credit/debit card everywhere, I recommend the N26 card, or Revolut, which do not charge fees for currency exchange, but do not think about taking money from any ATM in Turkey, because even if your card does not charge you commission or is small, the Turkish ATM will give you the wise with a commission of more than 8%. The first thing the tour guide does is to take you to an exchange office when you arrive in Istanbul, where the changes are not bad, but they tell you to change for the whole trip, that during the trip you can not change and that you can not pay with cards or that they charge a lot of commission, which is true that practically everywhere you can pay by card, with much better change. What I do advise you is to bring a good amount in Euros, because there are optional excursions that can only be paid in Euros and cash. Information on "mandatory" tips is rather confusing. I think that if they are services that must be paid for, they should be part of the price and not included, even if the price goes up, it would be much clearer for buyers. On the other hand, I never consider tips mandatory, in their very name they should serve to reward a good service and should be at the discretion of the person who pays them, so the concept of mandatory tips seems to me not to be the most appropriate for the transparency of the prices paid.
