If you are already in Ortahisar, the best way to reach Ortahisar Castle is by walking. Start from the Ortahisar town square (known as the Ortahisar Cumhuriyet Meydanı). From the square, head northeast along the main road, which is Resul Bey Street. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you see the castle rising above the town on your right. The castle is located at Esentepe, Resul Bey Sk., 50650 Ortahisar. Be sure to keep an eye out for signs directing you to the castle.

Local Bus

If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus to get closer to Ortahisar Castle. Look for the bus stop near Ortahisar Cumhuriyet Meydanı and catch a bus heading towards Ürgüp. The fare is generally around 5 Turkish Lira. Get off at the 'Ortahisar Esentepe' stop, which is the closest stop to the castle. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the castle entrance. Taxi

For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ortahisar to Ortahisar Castle. Taxis are readily available around Ortahisar Cumhuriyet Meydanı.
