Follow the signs for Tarsus and continue straight until you reach the city. Once in Tarsus, look for signs directing you to Kızılmurat. The Ancient Road is located in the Kızılmurat neighborhood at the address Kızılmurat, 33400 Tarsus/Mersin. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee depending on the area.

Public Transportation

To reach the Ancient Road using public transportation, take a bus from Mersin to Tarsus, which runs frequently throughout the day. The bus ride takes about 30-45 minutes and costs around 20-30 Turkish Lira. Once you arrive at Tarsus bus terminal, you can take a local dolmuş (minibus) heading towards Kızılmurat. The dolmuş fare is approximately 10 Turkish Lira. Ask the driver to drop you off at Kızılmurat, and from there, the Ancient Road is a short walk away.

Taxi

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from either Mersin or Tarsus. If you are in Tarsus, simply hail a taxi and inform the driver you want to go to Kızılmurat. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes from Tarsus city center and will cost around 50-70 Turkish Lira, depending on traffic and time of day.
