Car
If you are traveling by car, first make sure to set your navigation system to the Grand Bazaar's address: Beyazıt, 34126 Fatih/İstanbul. From Cilicia, you will likely take the D400 highway towards Adana, then connect to the O-4 highway heading towards Istanbul. Follow the signs for 'Fatih' as you approach the city. Parking is tricky in the area; there are several paid parking lots nearby, including one at Vezneciler, where you can park for approximately 20-30 Turkish Lira per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in Cilicia to the central bus station in Adana. From Adana, take a bus that heads directly to Istanbul (these are frequent and take around 10-12 hours). Upon arriving in Istanbul, head to the nearest metro station and take the M2 line towards Yenikapı. Transfer at the Vezneciler station and continue on foot to Grand Bazaar, which is about a 10-minute walk away. Be prepared to pay around 100-150 Turkish Lira for the bus ticket from Adana to Istanbul.
Train
Alternatively, you can take a train from Adana to Istanbul. Board the train at Adana Railway Station. The trip takes around 12 hours, and you will need to arrive at the Haydarpaşa Terminal in Istanbul. From there, take the Marmaray Line towards Ayrılık Çeşmesi, and change at the Sirkeci station to access the tram line T1 towards Kabataş. Get off at the Beyazıt-Kapalıçarşı stop, which is right next to the Grand Bazaar. Train tickets typically cost around 80-120 Turkish Lira.
