Walking
From the center of Ephesus, head south on Atatürk Boulevard towards the intersection with Meryem Ana Yolu. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large signs pointing towards the ancient city wall. As you approach the wall, you will notice a change in the landscape as the ancient ruins come into view. Follow the signs to the entrance of the ancient city wall, which is easily accessible on foot.
Public Transport (Dolmuş)
Catch a dolmuş (shared minibus) from the nearest dolmuş stop in Ephesus. The dolmuş heading to Selçuk will take you along Meryem Ana Yolu. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for the ancient city wall, which is located near Atatürk Boulevard. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the signs toward the ancient city wall, which is only a short walk from the drop-off point.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop in Ephesus. Once you have your bicycle, head south on Atatürk Boulevard and then turn onto Meryem Ana Yolu.
