Getting There

Walking
From the center of Göreme, head towards the main road (Müze Cad.) and walk in the direction of the Göreme Open Air Museum. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Uçhisar Road (Uçhisar Yolu). Turn left onto Uçhisar Road and follow it for about 1 km. You'll pass by various shops and cafes. Look for signs pointing towards Pigeon Valley (Güvercinlik Vadisi), which will lead you towards the entrance of the park.

Walking
If you are near the Göreme National Park entrance, you can walk towards the Uçhisar Castle direction. After reaching Uçhisar Castle, continue past the castle towards the valley. Pigeon Valley has well-marked hiking trails that will guide you directly into the valley, offering scenic views along the way.

Local Bus
From the Göreme bus station, take a local bus heading to Uçhisar. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive in Uçhisar, you can walk towards Pigeon Valley; follow the signs, which will direct you about 1 km downhill towards the valley entrance.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Göreme. Head out on Uçhisar Road and cycle towards Uçhisar. Once you arrive in Uçhisar, follow the signs to Pigeon Valley. The ride is about 3 km, and it offers a pleasant experience through the scenic landscapes.
