From the center of Göreme, head south towards the main road (Aydın Kırağı Street). Continue along this road until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Ürgüp. Turn left onto the road towards Ürgüp. Follow this road for approximately 8 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and rock formations. Keep an eye out for the Ürgüp sign, and as you approach the town, you will see the entrance to Ürgüp on your right.
Bus
Begin at the Göreme Bus Station located in the center of town. Purchase a ticket for Ürgüp from the ticket counter or the bus driver. Buses to Ürgüp run frequently throughout the day. Once you board the bus, enjoy the approximately 15-20 minute ride. The bus will take you directly to Ürgüp. After arriving, you can get off at the main bus terminal in Ürgüp, from where you can explore the town on foot.
Taxi
