The castle is situated at Kale, 06240 Altındağ/Ankara.

If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Ionia to Ankara. Buses frequently depart from major bus terminals in Ionia. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Ankara, you can take a taxi or use public transport to reach the castle. If using public transport, board the metro from AŞTİ (Ankara Intercity Terminal) to Kızılay station, then transfer to bus number 231 or 232 towards Altındağ. Get off at the Kale stop, and you will find Ankara Castle within walking distance.
