Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Ionia and take the D550 road towards Istanbul. Continue on D550 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Istanbul. Merge onto the O-1 highway towards Fatih. After about 10 kilometers, take the exit towards Kariye Mosque. Follow the signs for Derviş Ali and Kariye Cami Sk. Upon arrival, you will find parking available nearby.

To reach Kariye Mosque using public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Ionia. Take a bus heading to Istanbul. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Istanbul, transfer to the tram line. Board the tram (T1 line) towards Bağcılar and get off at the Edirnekapı stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk: head south on Kariye Cami Sk until you reach Derviş Ali and Kariye Cami Sk. The mosque will be on your left.
