If you are driving, head towards the town of Kuşadası in Aydın Province. From Kuşadası, take the D525 highway towards Söke. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will reach the turnoff for Güzelçamlı. Follow the signs to Güzelçamlı and continue into the town. The Panionion site is located in the Cumhuriyet Mahallesi neighborhood, which is about 3 kilometers from the town center. Look for signs directing you to the archaeological site. There is usually free parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Panionion using public transportation, take a dolmuş (shared minibus) from Kuşadası to Güzelçamlı. Dolmuşes run frequently and the fare is around 10-15 Turkish Lira (TL). Once you arrive in Güzelçamlı, you can either walk to the Panionion site, which is approximately a 30-minute walk (3 kilometers) from the town center, or take a local taxi for a small fare, typically around 40 TL.
Walking
If you are already in the town of Güzelçamlı, the Panionion archaeological site is accessible by walking. From the center of Güzelçamlı, head southwest towards Cumhuriyet Mahallesi. Follow the main road and look for signposts directing you to Panionion. The walk will take about 30 minutes, and the route is fairly straightforward. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes, as the path may be uneven in some areas.
