    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving from Ionia, head towards İzmir-İstanbul motorway (O-5). Continue on O-5 towards İstanbul. After approximately 500 km, take the exit towards Fatih. Follow signs for Aksaray and then Sultanahmet. You will reach Sultanahmet Square, which is located at Sultan Ahmet Parkı No:2, 34122 Fatih/İstanbul. Note that parking in the area may incur costs, typically ranging from 20-40 Turkish Lira per hour.

    Public Transportation (Bus and Tram)

    From Ionia, take a local bus to İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport and then fly to İstanbul. Upon arriving at İstanbul Airport, take the Havaist shuttle bus to Taksim Square (approximately 30-40 minutes, cost around 200 Turkish Lira). From Taksim, you can take the Taksim-Kabataş tram line to Kabataş, and then switch to the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar. Get off at Sultanahmet station. Sultanahmet Square will be a short walk from the tram stop.

    Train

    If you prefer train travel, take a train from İzmir to İstanbul. Upon arrival at the İstanbul train station, you can take the M1 metro line to Aksaray station. From Aksaray, transfer to the T1 tram line towards Bağcılar and disembark at Sultanahmet station. Sultanahmet Square is just a few minutes' walk from the tram station. Train tickets will cost around 100-150 Turkish Lira.
