Getting There

• Ferry

  To reach Burgaz Island from central Istanbul, you will first need to get to one of the main ferry terminals. The easiest way is to head to the Eminönü Ferry Terminal. You can take the tram (T1 line) to the Eminönü stop or use the metro to reach the Şişhane station and walk from there. Once at Eminönü, purchase a ticket for a ferry that goes to the Princes' Islands. Look for the ferries that have 'Adalar' on their signs. The ferry ride to Burgaz Island takes approximately 1 hour and provides beautiful views of the Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara. Make sure to check the ferry schedule, as they might vary by day and season.

• Public Transport to Ferry Terminal

  If you are located in the Asian side of Istanbul, a good starting point is Kadıköy. From Kadıköy, you can take a ferry to Eminönü. Once you arrive at Eminönü, follow the previous instructions to catch the ferry to Burgaz Island. Alternatively, you can take a bus to one of the ferry terminals like Bostancı or Kabataş, which also have services to the Princes' Islands.

• Walking Directions from Ferry Terminal

  Upon arriving at Burgaz Island, you will disembark at the main dock. From here, you can explore the island on foot. The island is pedestrian-friendly, and you can enjoy a walk along the waterfront, visit the local parks, and enjoy the charming architecture.
